8 new OpenSocket prostheses.

Thanks to the support of the Rotary Club, we were able to send 7 new OpenSocket prosthetic arms to Jonathan in Guatemala. Over the past few weeks Jonathan has been hard at work deploying these brand new devices to people with amputations. Just a few days ago, Jonathan fit two new patients with the OpenSocket.

We've been working hard to build a good system of following up with each new patient. Part of that system involves mapping out their locations. Using Google Fusion tables, we're building some useful new tools to help in this process. Below is a map showing the locations of 5 of the 6 arms currently deployed with patients in Central America.

Jonathan was also able to meet with 2 individuals who have been using the OpenSocket continually for the past year, and give them the new and improved version of our device. Jonathan sent back one of the used devices, and here you can see it sitting in our office next to one of the newest OpenSocket prosthetic arms.

We're continually excited as new individuals are able to benefit from the OpenSocket prosthetic arm!
